I am a beta-tester of TD real-time. They are planning to release it in a week.
There are some bugs but I hope the guys will do theirs best (they promised me)  wink  to debug it. So will see.

We are implementing the tool that will allow keeping for a single symbol its tick, minute and daily data. Now with Tradecision Real Time edition traders can use Data Manager to get free eod from Yahoo, IQfeed for intraday data and different data from other vendors that can be saved into a text file and then imported in Tradecision.

Can't say that DM handle the IQfeed pretty smothly. Sometimes I think that the Tradecision got a timeout for minutes or so. Maybe it is because of IQfeed client from witch DM get the data firstly and then disply them in Tradecision charts.

Are there any RT users of FOREX/Futures trading in this forum?

If so, would like to consider a group effort at startegy building for Day Trading in preparation for IB support.

Any interest?

I am using TD for FOREX trading.
Do you think we can help guys in preparation for IB support?
How you tie it together with a group effort at startegy building?

Bestous,
We can take a one tradeable (e.g. EUR/USD) and choose an intraday interval to work with (1/5/15/30/60 minute) that each one of us can build a strategy upon, test, and post the code and results in this forum. This will give others the opportunity to load, test, and improve on any ideas.

I am not familiar with how to load code and/or images on this forum, but I'm sure I can figure it out.

Does it sound workable?

I would also like to be involved in discussions with Forex trading using Tradecision RT.  I like to trade either the 15 or 30 minute timeframe, but have traded the 5 and 60 minutes also.  I would be glad to contribute in any way possible.

PSusen,
Great to have you. I think I'll start with the Euro 5 minute using Globex (CME) data since thats what I currently trade. I have not found too many indicators that work reliably on the Euro, so I will concentrate on several breakout systems I've come across on the web, books, and magazine articles. These will be easier to program with the programming language available in Tradecision.
