Is it possible to create a user "built-in" ticker list?  I would like to create a list containing all the stocks on the Copenhagen stock exchange.  I can't see an easy way to do this without entering each one manually.

Any suggestions?

Many thanks, michael

Dear Michael,

Thank you for your question.

Currently we provide with AMEX, NYSE, DOWs, FTSE, S&P500, NASDAQ, Russells ticker lists. However, we plan to include futures / FOREX tickers in v.2.2. You also can create your own lists now is follow the instructions below.

You can create any ticker list by yourself.

Say, you have a list of CME symbols in a text file.

You have to convert it to the following view:

CME
@S0H6
@S0#
TIE#
TIEF6

Then save the file as, say CME.tic, and copy it to C:\Program Files\Alyuda Tradecision\Data\DM\TickerList\

After that, you can add the symbols from the file to the Data Manager using the Symbol > Batch Add New command.

Important Note: When importing symbols from a ticker lists. Data Manager uses settings (periodicity, data source and so on) you set as default. So please make sure that you have the settings configured as you need. It means that when you add, for example, S&P 500 using Data Manager > Symbol > Batch Add New > select S&P 500, ALL these symbols will be added with default parameters.

To set default parameters:
In Data Manager, click Add New or Edit Properties, select configurations you need (Data Source, Periodicity, etc) and then click Save as Default button.

Sincerely,
